1. Potbelly- A large stomach, How its used- His potbelly defiantly Wasn't from too much hiking. 2.Vaguely- in and unsure matter. 3.Bitterly- in a resentful matter. how its used- that's all it was, Cole thought Bitterly. 4.stifled- held in with difficulty. how its used- He stifled yawns. 5.raged- hot. how its used.around him, a storm raged.

1)Word- Depositions Definition- a pretrial interrogation of a witness; usually conducted in a lawyer's office How it is used- "Even Nathaniel Blackwood quit stopping by except for when hearings and depositions required his presence. 2)Word- Artificially Definition- not according to nature; not by natural means How it is used- "Blackwood was a stiff man and spoke artificially" 3)Word- Sparse Definition- Having widely spaced intervals; Not dense; meager How it is used- "Several weeks earlier, Edwin, the Tlingit elder from Drake, had built a sparce one-room wood shelter for Cole on the island." 4)Word- Feigned Definition- make believe with the intent to deceive How it is used- "Gravey feigned suprise" 5)Word- Shrouded Definition- To cover or protect some other object How it is used- "The distant green-black forests were shrouded in gray mist."
